EDV Serves: St. Francis Day Center Lunches
Date & Time
About This Event
Join us in making an impact this month at the Day Center of St. Francis Center, a vital ministry in Denver that provides refuge for men and women experiencing homelessness — offering daytime shelter, basic services, and pathways toward housing and stability.
You and your family can support the lunch program by helping to lovingly prepare 150 sack lunches for guests at the Day Center, on Sunday November 9th right after service. This simple act of hospitality reflects our value of practicing mercy-shaped justice. Here's how you'll serve:
- Sign up to prepare/purchase 25 food items that will go into the sack lunch: sandwiches, snack, or drink.
- Bring this to our worship service on November 9.
- Help prepare the sack lunch right after our service, 10:30-11am.
Thank you for helping us extend compassion, community, and consistent care to our neighbors who rely on this ministry each day. Together we live out our calling as welcome-makers and peacemakers.
